People's concerns about big tech controlled social media, data, and AI based surveillance for commercial and other purposes have increased tremendously in recent times.
Neighbourhood communities around the world stand at the centre of these concerns. Many privacy and digital security aware communities around the world are turning away from the app-driven cloud-based software services and returning to building their own community content using time-tested websites with community control over data and privacy.
The idea of a website for the Defence Colony community has been floating around a long time. Finally some of us have decided to put together this community-built website.
